The Delivery Team must ensure that the test environment is built as planned. Establishing the test environment must be
done considering the relevant and required specifications (including all software and hardware configurations).
The Release Package must then be delivered to the established test environment, as per the Release And Deployment Plan.
This helps to identify issues at the early stage of development and take appropriate action to overcome the same.
In many cases, separate test environments may be required for different types of testing. Test data must be loaded in
each of these environments and regular backups should be taken to reset the data available in the test environment, in
case there is a need for re-testing. The established test environments must be verified and baselined.
